We are offering cooperation to companies
interested in implementing Semantic Analysis Method in different science
and application areas.
Our experience of the method software
development has demonstrated that it is strategically inexpedient to create
a universal multi-functional program, aimed at providing a maximal application
range for Semantic Analysis Method in different spheres of human activity.
It is caused by a number of reasons:
Flexible setup for different
data input parameters, processing modes, interpretation variants, index
calculations and situation modeling makes the system so sophisticated
that it takes a user special training and education not only in terms
of mastering the program interface, but also requires deep understanding
of the method theoretical foundations.
For the majority
of specific instances of method application within a wide range of opportunities,
most method potentialities either appear to be out of use, or admit of
automatic setup, no user-involvement needed.
The method application
sphere often requires involvement of specific means as well as algorithms
of standard problem processing.
The above reasons lead us to the conclusion
that further distribution of "FOCUS++"
system
is not
worthwhile. Yet its development will definitely be continued.
The company considers it worthwhile and
promising to proceed with development and distribution (on the basis of
"FOCUS++" system) of a series of specialized applied software
complexes. An example of this approach is "SNY
Staff Expert"
software complex, which is intended for effective professional team arrangement.
This program excludes calculation or deduction of user-irrelevant figures,
performs the algorithm of sequential automatic arrangement of all tentative
team variants, as well as selects the most effective variants. Besides,
the technique is supplied with sociometry and a test for psychological
compatibility of personnel. As a result, we have come up with, what we
think to be a relatively easy-to-use tool, not requiring any special knowledge
from the end user.
Further development and perfection of
the personnel management program is definitely possible, alongside with
the implementation of the already developed modules in other research
and applied spheres. For example, the tasks of automatic diagnosis in
geology are similar to the described technology in terms of algorithm,
whereby the "groups" of attributes of mineral resource deposits
or the symptoms of disease in medicine are also analyzed in similar ways.
In these spheres it is often really important to take into account the
compatibility of different elements of the analyzed system (for example,
the way different medicines work together or influence a patient's body;
compatibility of materials or technological modes in engineering and manufacturing,
etc.). Thus, on the basis of readymade modules we are currently developing
a complex for optimization of the process of growing semiconductor structures
and selection of the most efficient manufacturing modes in semiconductor
physics. For other fields (marketing, advertisement etc.) other types
of additional components may be required. Including those presents no
problem.
To
those companies, who it may concern, we offer our service in the development
of specialized software for solving specific types of problems peculiar
to various fields, by means of Semantic Analysis. Our experience has shown
that the development period for a specialized software package on the
basis of already existing algorithms and modules does not exceed 5-6 months.
It is also possible to conduct one-time
projects in cooperation with outside companies with the purpose of testing
the method in a sphere desired. In this case a customer is sent the data
collection program module, after which, he forwards our company the collected
data to be processed with the help of "FOCUS++
Basic module".
Research results can be the basis for further cooperation aimed at developing
specialized software, which would enable a customer to conduct similar
independent projects in the field described.
